The Newstar 12V 200Ah delivers 200Ah at the 10-hour rate in a single block, double a 100Ah, with a 10-year design float life (Eurobat 10–12 years "long life"). Fewer batteries mean fewer connections, simpler strings and less to maintain.
Its very low 3.5 mΩ internal resistance and 1400A maximum discharge current carry the heaviest UPS and inverter loads the moment the mains drops. M8 threaded-insert terminals give a strong, low-resistance connection for large cables, and its sealed AGM construction means no water top-ups and no routine checks. Should I use one 200Ah or two 100Ah in parallel?
One 200Ah block means fewer connections, no need to balance parallel strings, and simpler maintenance. Choose by the rack space, weight limits and capacity your system needs.
Why is the capacity rated at 10 hours, not 20?
Long-life batteries are usually rated at the 10-hour rate. At the 20-hour rate, this battery's discharge data shows about 214Ah, so compare like for like when checking other brands.
How long will it last in the Gulf?
Heat shortens battery life. For the longest service, install it in a cooled, ventilated room. Every 10°C above 25°C significantly reduces float life.
Will it fit my rack?
It measures 522 x 238 mm and is 222 mm tall including terminals, and weighs about 59.5 kg. Check rack size and load rating, and use a lifting aid or a team lift for installation.
Which terminal does it have?
It comes with T16 terminals: an M8 threaded insert that takes an M8 bolt. Check your cable lugs suit M8 before ordering.
What does the warranty cover?
Standby (backup) use only, where the battery sits on float charge and discharges during power failures. Cyclic use, such as solar, golf carts or daily-cycling inverters, is not covered.
Do you deliver outside the UAE?
Yes. We regularly supply customers across the GCC, Africa and Central Asia. Tell us your destination and we will include freight options with your quote.
