Newstar 12V 2.3Ah VRLA AGM Battery (33-02312)
Ideal for
Overview
Slim alarm enclosures, access control housings and emergency light battens often leave no room for an upright battery. The Newstar 12V 2.3Ah lies flat at just 35 mm wide and 66 mm tall. It slides into shallow spaces while still giving 2.3Ah of 12V backup.
It sits on float charge, topped up and ready, then takes over the moment the mains drops. Its sealed AGM construction means no water top-ups, no acid handling and no routine checks. BAM supplies it wholesale to integrators, security installers, MEP contractors and FM companies across the UAE and GCC.

Frequently asked questions
Can't find your answer? Message our sales team on WhatsApp.
What charger settings should I use?
For standby use, float charge at 13.50–13.80V at 25°C. Keep the initial charging current below 0.92A.
Will it fit my enclosure?
It measures 179 x 35 mm and is 66 mm tall including terminals, with T1 (4.75 mm) tab terminals. Check these against your housing before ordering.
How long will it last?
The design floating life is 5 years at 25°C. Higher temperatures shorten it, so install away from heat sources.
Can I use it in toys or portable devices?
It will power them, but these drain and recharge the battery repeatedly. That is cyclic use, which the warranty does not cover.
What does the warranty cover?
Standby (backup) use only, where the battery sits on float charge and discharges during power failures.
