Overview
When an outage runs long, a small battery won't last. The Newstar 6V 10Ah gives emergency lighting, alarm panels and fire and security systems more than twice the capacity of a 6V 4.5Ah, so they keep running until the power comes back.
It sits on float charge, topped up and ready, then takes over the moment the mains drop. Its low 12 mΩ internal resistance lets it deliver strong current when the load demands it. Its sealed AGM construction means no water top-ups, no acid handling and no routine checks. What charger settings should I use?
For standby use, float charge at 6.80–6.90V at 25°C with a maximum charging current of 3A.
How long will it last?
The design floating life is 5 years at 25°C. Higher temperatures shorten it, so install away from heat sources.
Which terminal does it have?
It is available with T1 (4.75 mm) or T2 (6.35 mm) tab terminals. Check which one your equipment needs before ordering.
Can I use it in ride-on toy cars?
It will power them, but toy cars drain and recharge the battery repeatedly. That is cyclic use, which the warranty does not cover.
What does the warranty cover?
Standby (backup) use only, where the battery sits on float charge and discharges during power failures.

Do you deliver outside the UAE?
