The Newstar 12V 12Ah gives these systems 12Ah of 12V backup, keeping them monitoring, locking and recording through extended outages.
Its low 22 mΩ internal resistance and 120A maximum discharge current handle load spikes from sounders, maglocks and UPS start-up. Its sealed AGM construction means no water top-ups, no acid handling and no routine checks. Can I replace a 12V 7Ah or 9Ah with this battery?
Not directly. It has the same length and height, but it is 98 mm wide against 65 mm. Check your enclosure has the room, and that your charger and battery calculations allow for 12Ah.
Which terminal does it have?
It is available with T1 (4.75 mm) or T2 (6.35 mm) tab terminals. Check which one your equipment needs before ordering.
What charger settings should I use?
For standby use, float charge at 13.50–13.80V at 25°C. Keep the initial charging current below 4.8A.
How long will it last?
The design floating life is 5 years at 25°C. Higher temperatures shorten it, so install away from heat sources.
Can I use it in e-bikes, scooters or toys?
It will power them, but these drain and recharge the battery repeatedly. That is cyclic use, which the warranty does not cover.
Do you supply in bulk?

Do you deliver outside the UAE?
Yes. We regularly supply customers across the GCC, Africa and Central Asia. Tell us your destination and we will include freight options with your quote.
